QuakeLive works fine for me - no lag. Though they have very few servers/people at the moment. And yeah, I already spent my 2 invites, sorry. When I get more I'll bring them over here.

I may jump on this .16 server sometime then. I've been having some lag issues though in all the .32 servers I've been jumping around on. Going from 30 lag to 130+ sucks and I can't figure out why I'm lagging so bad.

the little down side thats the map is always dm6, exept some rare time when they change it manualy

but overall its all good.. .11/.16 is a little rough after using .30 + for so long.. but its better than staying on a dead version or .32 with PB and all the bad stuff going on there like random kicks from PB and lags

i woulnt count on QL too much.. from what i heard its VERY laggy.. but whatever.. as long i can find tmd freez server with alot of players that is not on .32 im happy with q3

I've played on this server a couple times recently in the past few days. It isn't that bad.

I can't seem to get my truelightning to work right though. My LG won't stay straight -shrug-

The mod isn't to bad. Though without a auto-thaw you get some hardcore body camping which gets annoying. I haven't really found it "challanging" though. What few games I've played I've ended up in the top 3 spots for frags and stuff.

All in all, not bad and might hold me over while I wait for QL.

yea .16 is a little buggy and doesnt have all the features the highter version have but well... better than nothing, the thing i hate the most is the brightness.. i cant get it bright enough to see something on dm17.. totaly unplayable same for prodm6 and a few other.. dm6 is fine though.. weird.. just like the maps have different light computation.. anyways...

and well. challenge.. i mean.. there are a couple of good players there.. and some that are bad and some ok.. just like in any other servers i guess
u may not have played with the good one's yet.. dunno

i agree that sometime being frozen for a long time may be anoying especialy when u got a bunch of noob in ur team that cant thaw for **** and the campers like u said, but thats the game... i think thats still a nice way to play tdm freeze

Yeah, the brightness thing is killing me. I've talked to some of the other guys there and they say they don't have a problem adjusting the brightness or changing their truelightning settings. So I'm not sure why it isn't letting me change those.

RAGE and I played the 1.16 server last night you guys are talking about. We weren't that impressed. It doesnt quite replace what the h8 server was. our pings were in the 100's which doesnt help. also it didnt seem as smooth to me. it was really dark until i changed the r_gamma 1. (it was r_gamma 2 when i played 1.30 on h8) but i could never get the brightness as bright as i played with on 1.30.
