So my power went out on Friday and we finally got it back today.. Wow.. No electricity sucks.. Especially when your house is like 40 degrees and you have to go take shower at the YMCA.. Cookin by the fire is pretty sweet too.. and did I mention how warm it was.. ohhh yahhhh... It was terrible.. Oh.. and I Couldn't even take a poop cause we couldn't flush.. YMCA again.. Hopefully I'll be back to pwn some of you in Quake.. woot... cya guys round soon

10 degrees at night and 25 high in the day, this sucks. But, it's a dry cold, lol. Sometimes we have the best weather in the country---80's and no humidity but not in the winter.

As far as no heat, I have a wall mounted 30,000 btu popane heater for such emergencys. Got mine from ebay, but I've seen em at Lowe's. It connects to one of those 5gallon propane cans and will heat a bedroom for a week with that 5 gallons. They're not cheap --about $250 but man I wouldn't want to be without heat here for more than a few hours. It could be a real problem with water pipes bursting.

BTW, they are safe to burn inside as they are near 100% efficient, i.e., no carbon monoxide. CO bad, heat good.

Hey Cat...Florida IS nice...but...us Floridians have to dodge hurricanes from June-November :-D
