Hey y'all,


I thought I would run an IRC channel for the h8 community. I still run my TeamSpeak server, but not alot of people seem to be in to it for whatever reasons (no mic, too shy to voice chat, etc). Although, the TS is staying up though. There are a handful of us that do use it. OK, so I downloaded mIRC and I have no idea whatsoever of what I'm doing. First of all, is it free to host/run an IRC channel? And how do I get started? I've googled some and tried to make sense of the instructions that I read, but they don't explain it very well. If any of y'all are familiar with IRC, could ya shoot me a PM on here, or IM me and kinda walk me through it? Or post some step by steps in this thread? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm afraid I've never set an IRC chan up before, but I do know it's not the friendliest of programs! I'll have a look around and get back to you if I find any more info...
