OK y'all,


I figured out the bare basics for making an IRC channel. The channel is under the Quakenet server and the channel name is gibfactory. Well, that's all I have for now. It should always be up like my TS server. So, hope to see alot of you guys there.

hmmm....this seems to be doing quite a bit better than the TeamSpeak server....but...lol...everyone is coming & going at totally diff times....I have had quite a few conversations there though....when I catch people there...my thing was...there were never any sounds to let me know people were coming/going/posting messages.....I know figured that out...so it makes a lil clickey type noise now....so...if I have it running in background...I can hop in there when someone joins/posts something....and I've started changing my name to say ^AFKLayDee or something to that effect if I'm not *really* there...and just LayDee if I am....so y'all know....I wonder if it'll let me like make a custom sound of some sort....something I'll be able to hear over quake or music or whatever...to let me know when ppl come/go/post something...oh well...guess I'll figure that out later.....hope to see a lot more of y'all there...since IRC doesn't require a mic (which is the excuse I got for no-shows in TeamSpeak LOL)
