i would just like to apologize to anyone that i have gotten onto at the server. wheter is was about being afk for 4 maps , or running around guanting people, suiciding 100 times on space maps, teamstacking, winjoining, excessive chat,.........w/e.

i played ctf when i first started playing q3. i didnt play ffa, tdm, or anyhting else. ctf only. and there was a certain code among all the people i played with. people played to win. they tried hard every game. played with class and honor. helped out people. and looked out for one another. the servers we played on were sorta policed by the players who frequented the server alot. whether or not if it was theirs or their clans. we all knew how to play. we all played sorta alike. and we didnt want anyone who was gonna be a prob playin at the servers for very long. and wede tell them that they would prolly get banned if they didnt straighnten up.
so thats what i was used to.

for over 2 years now, ive played f4a. and stil havent gotten used to it. but i have come to the realization during my recent "time-out" period, that this is a different community. and those things are going to go on here. and maybe thats what makes h8 what it is. a sorta laid back , fun place to play. and instead of trying to change the people into what i was used to. and what i thought h8 should be. i need to either adjust myself or find another place to play.

i know i tend to get fired up, as i wear my heart on my sleeve. and some say i take this too seriously. now q3 isnt my life. but it is something i enjoy. and i do everything full bore. so when im logged on, i sorta go into another world. and do take it seriously. but everything i say, i say becuase i think its for the betterment of the server and community as a whole. i dont do it for myself. i dont care about my score or winning every game. i almost am always on the losing team. i try to help out when new people join the community. i help ref and set up servers for other clans wars. run tourneys. alot of stuff.

i do this to build the community. and by doing that it does help me. i get a fun place to play. and the competition gets better , which in turn makes me better.

anywas....sry for the long post. just wanted to say sry for all those peeps i was a prick to. in hindsight i should have ben yelling at myself. i know im not always right. and i am will to listen. and ill learn. im a slow learner. and im getting old. guess you cant teach an old CaT new tricks.

I think you started a revolution of whiners and complainers on q3.. everytime i come onto a server all I hear is lemme railcheck you.. I don't really enjoy the server anymore.. you were always talking about bettering the community but i don't think you helped very much.. things were fine before you went uber nazi on q3.. just my thoughts.. and i don't accept apologies

Thats kinda harsh Daddio. I know i've only been around a little while. I only play Q3 on the H8 server. The entire time i've played, only three peps have offered constructive game play advice. CAT, PYRO, and FTW FIEND. Cat has ALWAYS encouraged me to learn "old school" Q3. No scripts, know your maps, lots of practice, and certainly no hax. Pyro taught me to," MOVE YOUR ASS BUCK " Fiend, well thats top secret. A lot of great folks on the server, Cat is one of them. Just a thought. BUCK

i think that people who play the normal modes, and have been playing a long time, are used to playing a certain way, like cat said, most people play to win, but it seems on .30 its more about the community, in a way, more talk then nething which isnt really a bad thing.

i dont really show up to the h8 server ne more, cause ive been startin to play a lot of ctf on .32 cause those ppl know how to play, and are really good at it, but their still willing to help ppl learn

especially prefering osp, thers only 1 osp server on .30, but no one shows up to it, and as much fun as it is, it gets kinda old playing the same 10 ppl over and over. on .32 theres a lot more better ppl to play against, and thats the only way to get better, is to play better ppl
