Has the h8 community ever thought about moving BACK to version 30? It just seemed to me like nothings changed except the server popularity. When we once had 16 players at a time round the clock now theres what like 6 people max?? I dont know im jsut bored...not that ive been playing in the past 2 weeks or so... like seriously iu havent even signed on to your server so maybe im just making an ignorant claim about all this... My world right now is composed of electrons, psi, lambda, partial derivitives, operators, and eigenfunctions.. seriously none of you know waht the f im talking about so ill shutup... But serioulsy is version 32 any better? optis still playing and pb messes everyone up... what good is there??

Partial derivitives, is that something like a partial differential equation? Sounds to me like you are playing with magnetic fields or learning how to do the math to tune a PID circuit for your air conditioner. Tuning an air conditioner is probably more practical and will earn you more money and air conditioner repairmen are allowed to have a plumbers crack.

so what we are really concerned with is where did all the people go right? we are just tired of playing with bots right? well lets ask that question. why didn't everyone come over to 1.32? its not like its difficult to convert. heck buck and i did it! lol. seems to me there are two reasons why we arent seeing the same numbers of people.
1. can't hack and
2. gotta have a legit cd key (game).

yes people like opti can play again but now he gets pwnd. i love 1.32 because there isnt that whole "you are hacking, no you are hacking, prove it, ok i'll demo u, no i'll demo you!!!" bs happening anymore. if someone talks about hacking we know its a joke. the server is more peacefull and therefore more fun (atleast for me anyways). yes i would rather see more people playing but its not my server. i am just thankful h8 has these servers running and has left it open and free. maybe they like the small numbers who knows??? if not lets try to get more people over to 1.32 and get them in here. don't notice a difference with pb or 1.32 other than i can compete more now than i could before. i'm guessing cause no more hacking. anyways thats my two cents!

I think the move first of all was to get rid of optimum not hacking in general.
Because CB had to ban a certain number of ips and most of us couldnt play there anymore while optimum still somehow came there once or twice and I suppose thats what pushed h8 to move to .32 where cb banned 3 different cdkeys that optimum was using. A lot more practical and every1 else can play!

If you dont have a game its - 10$ (hell thats a lot)
and to make sure you get on, as there were several problems just reinstall quake from the cd uve bought with its cdkey, do cl_allowdownload 1 and connect to h8 - im positively sure that ull connect and be able to play

lol, i m also sick of owning bots now,
if i connect to the server 100 times a day then its only 2 times that i found someone playing there
but matty is also right we dont hear the debate of hacks and demos any more

100% agree with matty cause when i would play all i heard was that ahhh you hack sh!t.. that def made the game no fun for me especially when i was hearin it every night and all.. but i say stick with 1.32.. i mean.. for TP we've been around for maybe a year right.. we were on 1.30 and mainly the only people we were gettin in our server were our own clannies... now the server's almost packed everyday.. you just gotta wait.. i mean.. it's like wine.. it gets better with time..
