how can i play single player or multiplayer q3 with the same settings as the h8 server? example i can't rail jump or can't start with all weapons when i play with my lan connection or single player. I would like to practice when i dont have an internet connection.

Very helpfull, umm, your settings from the f4a mod are saved in the f4a folder, in q3config.cfg, copy paste that to any mod folder replacing the other one(back it up if you dont want to lose it). If you wanna make a server like h8s for lan play, you gonna have to get the server side config, CB has that, or try googling for it.

great thanks for the help. i am pretty sure i got what you're saying and i'll try that. may have a couple more questions in the future but i'll try what you said. thanks again, it's cool when there are others out there who remember what it was like to learn the game for the first time.

ok well here's the part where i have more questions! i found the config settings in the f4a folder. i dont know where to copy them. I have different mod folders like freeze, f4a, freeze4a and berylium etc... i dont know what folder to use to make this work. i dowloaded these (on the link) but dont know if i have them or need them...http://noobed.com/frzforall/download.htm
