I know alot of people have been asking around for railjump binds, so here is one.
I like to use this bind to quickly escape from trouble, however those noobies out there that want to use this should know, good rail jumping is a skill, and one that will not be immitated by a rail jump script. You should use a rail jump script sparingly as it will not help you get better.

set rjump"+lookdown;wait;wait;+attack;+moveup;wait;wai t;-attack;-moveup;-lookdown;-lookdown;wait;wait;centerview"

[previous should all be on one line]

then to bind it to a key you would have...
bind f8 vstr rjump

provided f8 was your chosen key.

im not a big fan of the railjump script. but cb and 76 thought it should be allowed so it has been at h8.

i think there are some discussions going on about the railjump script and its use and if it should still be allowed or not at the server.

im curious to once again get everyones thoughts and ideas on this subject.

we have discussed this before but the people have come and gone and new peeps here..new thoughts ect......

i for one dont like any script. takes away from the skill of it. i also dont like railjumping at all. lol. coming from ctf we use rocket jumps and takes away some health. i think there ought to be a little penalty for making such a jump to escape trouble/get objects ect...

but..if it is agreed that railjumping is allowed and rail scripts are allowed, then any and all railjump scripts should be allowed. there are some that do it faster and re center the view. less waits in the code . some make you look down first ect. ect.

if you allow one. have to allow all.

Yeah I do it the old fashion way... which is also the reason you will see me mess up and rail myself from time to time. Just pick any weapon and guaranteed I'll find some way to shoot myself with it =P

i thought rail scripts were hax and not allowed... now i know why some are so good at rail jumping. i like the challenge of improving my rail jumps by doing it the old fashioned way. i think the game is more fun to play when you know your playing at your own skill level without help from scripts or hax. i guess if you play for a long time and never get better then hacking would be the way to go (lol). i'd like to see rail scripts banned personaly.
