Everyone knows the Invalid_CDkey has been a problem latly, but i am having this problem now. My CD key is correct and my Quake says it is a good one, but when i try to connect it simply spams me intill i do something. Some other servers i also have this problem, but i think its something in my cfg.

I can connect to servers with PB and servers without PB, but it seems yours and a few others cannot be entered.

So whats going on?

*Note* I got the game and instaled it through a CD, have a legit CD Key (Or so i though) and it won't work.

I mostly use ase to connect to servers except for when playing ra3 cause you gotta launch from that mod its self but I use this batch file when connecting onto other servers.

Simply find ur q3 dir instead of using ur q3.exe use this.
Make a quake3.bat file and put in the same dir as ur q3.exe.

quake3.exe %*
) else (
quake3.exe %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9

cuz like 10 seconds later...im in..corrects itself er somtin

Did not work, i tryed ASE and still has the same problem. Is there a way to get 1.30 back?

The only thing I can tell you to do is erase the cd key type letter for letter the cd key and check it over. Theres no reason why it shouldnt work.

Guys i know this is an old topic but have you noticed how like the max number

of players on the h8 servers at any one time is usually.....0!

Surely its better playin with hack scum + peeps with dodgy copies rather than playin with bots.

Dont u miss the days when the servers wer full, with peeps even queing to get in.

Guys sort it out or quake 3 freezetag is dead in the water.





....And no i dont mean any disrespect to CB who i know does a great job.

If not mistaken there are only freeze rail server so it was dead along ago lol.

I Deleted the patch and it didn't work, it deleted quake in total.

So people who don't have a CD to instal it, i recommand you don't do that. But it was a try thanks for the help guys
