adding memory

ok so i upgraded and added 1 gig of ram to my system so i have 1.5 gig. things dont seem the same now in the way the game plays. has anyone had to change the cfg after adding ram? will the game play different you think when adding ram?

adding ram shouldnt make any difference in gameplay...

you may perhaps notice a fps increase if you dont have it capped..

also..might i suggest that if you have 4 dimm slots, that you put the two new 512's in the first two...then your old 512 in the 3rd....matchin ram does make a difference...

yeah i have 3 but i put the 2 new matched ram in the first two slots thanks for the response

not suggested that you run 3 slots.. it should either be 2 or 4

yeah i know its not suggested but what harm will it do? oh and i only have 3 slots (not 2 or 4) they will support up to 1 gig each.

unless your adding the exact same spec mem it will slow you down whats the spec? i got 2 stix ddr2 pc 3200 er 3400?
but whenst i put in with old stick my shiet ran slow cuz old stick was ddr 266 get it?
