i got vista not legal but it worx
cant get the gamma in the game to brighten up
any console commands to help with this?
also got the nvidia force ware vista drivers still no luck

i been playin with it since it was in beta 1 stage
its allrite, its a freekin pig ...huge
alot o stuff to turn off to make my own i wouldnt pay 400.00 er whatever there chargin for it
i still got xp (LEGAL) ON A SPARE DRIVE WHEN THIS GETS to messy and they crack 4 it gives out
all in all...just need more 3rd party software and drivers

only legal thing i have on my pc is is prolly quake and believe me i have a sh!t load of soft lol
i got vista the day after it came out (demonoid FTW), and, well its not so bad in terms of graphics, animation, however it slows my pc down pretty bad, well its understandable - its not that powerful so i reinstalled win2k now.
All it takes is a powerful pc and ull get the good animation and all but i didnt notice any other good points about this new windows (top of all its just an upgrade that u install over ur version)

oh the thing that really annoyed the **** out of me was that it would ask me permission everytime i would install/remove/do something at all and i couldnt find a way to turn that off lol

thats the UAC (user account control) u can turn that off in user accounts
or admin tools
also found that b4 you run anything...right click and run everything as admin
sometimes you even haveto right click and go to properties and and then advanced and then take full control and ownership of the file
just to bend this pig and make it do what u want it to

theres a couple of all in ones floating around just for vista on demonoid
try VISTA MANAGER makes it easy too shut stuff off and tweak
