Monitor

Quake 4 may have been a bust for most people, myself included. On the bright side, I have a shiny new computer collecting dust next to my linux box that I am using to type this up. It is collecting dust because I am using the monitor for the linux box.

Target Jr. can't stand seeing all of that horse power collecting dust so he has comitted to buying me a Dell 2005fpw for Christmas. It is a really sweet monitor that I hope he gets. Here is a link to it. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/P...ctlisting.aspx

I may or may not get the monitor but it sure is shiny.

I have a gig of 2100 ram sitting in a drawer right now. I am thinking about upgrading mrs. targets machine.

6800's are still pretty nice so there are not too many of them laying around.

You can get a 7 series for 300 thats not really that much lol. I dont think 6 is really that far away but think about it in the long run get 1 now and dont gotta get 1 later. I suppose.

If I buy a 7 series card, that will lead to upgrading other things. Then more, and more! Maybe one day when I win the lottery, but not today.
