Here's 2 pics of my setup. 4.5yr old PK's B&W Mac G3 and ogre's Mac Mini with slew of peripherals. My fav periph is the 100 watt per channel technics reciever/amp outputted to cerwin vega floor speakers. Quake really does quake at my house, lol!

Problem is as I was reading everybody's post yesterday, I found some of you had links to your own myspace.com sites. I clicked on Korax's link and the link worked fine but after 5 or 6 seconds, the unbeknownst to me embedded sound file, starts to play, a freakin 7.0 richter scale blast of unknown metal. My amp, for whatever reason, was set to 50% volume level and I'm just about blown out of my chair. 7 or 8 cds fell off my homemade hutch before I could turn it down. Sorry Korax, I'm not dissing you at all, my bad for leaving the volume up.

Since I never lurked about much in h8's old forum or this new one I don't know if peeps have posted pics of their setups but I think it would be cool if you did!

BTW, little PK is pretty good and she has even (luckily) fragged some of you. Although I haven't tried it yet, both of us could play y'all at the same time. Some people have given me s*** about letting her play such a violent game, and i do give it some thought. I've turned off blood and gibs on both setups. Usually she just plays SP mode with no bots and just loves to run around finding all the ammo and weapons.

my lil bro and nephew play sometimes as well...i do the same with gibs and stuff...basically like playin tag. i bet shes smart and knows the difference between things.

i used to rock q3 with some nice speakers as well...really fel those rockets. but lately ive been playin with headphones and i love em. can really hear alot with ingame music tuned off.
