Oh how the mighty have fallen
Well I am on my parents computer the one that I had to fix a few days ago and now my computer is down and its been almost a whole day!!!
I was just surfing and it rebooted and ****, it says something about broadcom and I figure ill have no choice but to do a format or something, because F8 doesnt show safemode options only disc, cd/dvd. I goto the setup in XP install and it gets to the point where you install and it says "<setup cannot access disc.>" so i press d to delete partition and it goes to a black screen, i try to press c to create a new partition and it doesnt do anything.
I also tried to use the recovery console and use fix mbr, format c:, and diskpart and they all arent faring well. I checked in the bios and it recognizes the hard-drive is still there. I am considering using MaxBlast and format it from there, if things drag on i'll just delete everything to get it back up.
This sucks, my XP install lasted from 2004-2007 I was hoping to keep that streak alive for a few more years lol. This is the first time I asked for help on any forum too.
Also a friend of mines computer went down, it seems that the computer problems just strike multiple times, but god damn! this is me were talking about here, I never had a problem hit me like this lol.
