Re: New mouse

Laser mice just plain suck and so do wireless. Laser mice skip and when they dont they only skip on certain surfaces. I will never buy another one. If you want the best bang for your buck stick to optical. It is more reliable and they dont skip. Unless you want to pay a redicolous amout for a laser mouse for inferior performance.

MX518 best mouse for the money and ALOT better performance than some of these high dollar peices of crap.

Re: New mouse

I use the old Logitech mx laser on one of my computers and it works great. It has worked well for over a year and the batteries last a few days. I try to put it back in its holder every 3 or 4 days. It has never failed on me.

My windows computer has a razer diamondback and a lachesis. I like the diamondback and erasmus likes the lachesis.

Re: New mouse

shoot all u guys and ur rich fancy mouses.... haha i use a 5 dollar microsoft mouse...and i still kick ur asses.. don't need nothin fancy just a wired optical mouse. yea never get wireless, the batteries die out so fast and the problem is when the battery gets low the mouse isn't fully functional the sensitivity gets lower and lower. an optical wired mouse is the best mouse to use.

Re: New mouse

Skif: Since you're looking for something wireless, I think the MX 1000 honestly will be your best bet. Although it's not strictly a gaming mouse, I've had no problems using it while playing Quake 3 and other FPS games. The recharging dock is nice because you don't have to worry about changing batteries every other week.

I've gotten MT over $500 in free mice over the years in exchange for free room and board.

Thanks, finally some meaningful advice! I'll take a look at mx 1000. What do you think of MS mice?
